⚓ What is this?
This is a simulator rolling the rare gacha (rare cat capsule) for
Battle Cats. With the simulator, you can look into the future to
predict and track your future rolling results.
- Every game save has a seed number used to calculate the rolling result.
- The seed number will only change if you roll the rare gacha.
- We can observe the rolling results and figure out your seed for your game save.
- The simulator is able to use the seed to calculate all the future rolling results.
⚓ Quick facts for common questions or misconceptions
- You only need to find your seed once because it'll never change without rolling, and you can update it as you roll in the game
- All events including platinum and legend are sharing the same seed
- You can never go backward in positions, only go forward
- You can only switch to the other track by rolling a guaranteed uber, or by hitting into the same rare cat in a row (consecutive duplicated rare cats). However, you won't really get the second duplicated rare cat and the game will re-roll another rare cat for you
- The ubers in the uber positions can change when a new uber is added to the pool. Likewise, the legends in the legend positions can change when the event has multiple legends.
- For basic highlighting, colors are fixed for the positions to help you discover across events, and they're not used to highlight the rarity of the cats, so they might not always match. This could happen on events with non-regular banners (for example, events without legend cats or events with special rates)
⚓ How to use
First, you'll want to find your current seed. Watch the video or read the text explanation.
⚓
-
Before you hit seek, follow these steps:
- Pick a gacha event (e.g. Ultra Souls or Uberfest). Use your rare (gold) tickets or cat food. Both work the same.
-
Roll several times. Preferably 7 to 10 rolls. Record the results. The more rolls you made, the more accurate the result will be.
- (Alternative) There's another strategy that you can just roll 5 cats, and it's very likely that it'll give you a wrong seed. That is ok, you can then roll the 6th cat, and check if it's matching your track or not. If not, put that 6th cat into the list and seek again. Repeat the process until you get an accurate result.
- Fill the results at seed seeking in the respective rolling order. Make sure you pick the gacha event you rolled with.
-
If you made 11-rolls with a guaranteed event, or 15-rolls (3+5+7) with a step-up event:
- Don't fill your last guaranteed uber in the form.
- Fill the last 10 rolls without the last guaranteed uber.
- Avoid gacha events having repeated cats (e.g. Metal Busters or potentially collaboration gacha). If you did, you'll need to trial and error to find the correct one from the drop down menu picking the cats you rolled, because we can't tell which one you actually rolled. You can only try them one by one.
- Note that you only need to find the seed once. Following up, you can advance the tracks from there.
-
Understand the results:
- If everything is correct, you'll get the seed number, and two links (or three links if you filled 10 cats).
- The first link is using your starting seed for reference and debugging purpose, which shows the status before you rolled.
- The second link is using your last seed, which shows the status after you rolled.
- If you didn't roll in guaranteed events, you start at 1A in the second link.
-
If you made 11-rolls with a guaranteed event, or 15-rolls (3+5+7) with a step-up event:
-
You start at 1A in the third link. 1A in the third link is exactly the same as 1B in the second link, because a guaranteed uber counts as a half roll, thus switching you to the other track.
-
If you made 11-rolls, you can also use the first link, which shows the status before you rolled, and click on the guaranteed uber link in 1A showing -> 11B, simulating your exact 11-rolls, leading to where you are now. The new page should be exactly the same as the third link.
⚓ Reading the tracks
- Using the link from the seek result, you'll see a table looks like below.
- Suppose you start at 1A, then your next roll with rare ticket or cat food will be the cat located in 1A. It's a rare cat (1A rare cat) in this case.
- Your next roll will be located at 2A, which is a super rare cat (2A supa cat).

⚓ Advancing the tracks
- You can click on the cat's name, which will simulate that you rolled to that cat.
- Following the above example, let's click on the cat's name at 2A (i.e. 2A supa cat) to simulate that you rolled to that cat. This will lead you to a table looks like below.
- You can see that you advanced two rows. Previously 3A rare cat was located at 3A, highlighted in stripes, now it's located at 1A.
- Your new next roll will be 3A rare cat located at 1A.
- You can see that the other track will also advance, meaning that you can only pick one in the same row.

⚓ What is a guaranteed event
- There are two kinds of guaranteed events.
- One is 11 continuous rolls with 1500 cat food, which the 11st roll will be 100% uber regardless previous rolls, meaning that even if you rolled an uber cat earlier, the 11st will still be an uber cat.
- The other one is 3+5+7 (15) step up events, or increasing capsules, which you first use 300 cat food to roll 3 times continuously, and then 750 cat food to roll 5 times continuously, and finally 1050 cat food to roll 7 times continuously. In total 15 (3+5+7) rolls. Similar to 11 rolls guaranteed events, the last 15th roll will be 100% uber.
- Platinum gacha with platinum tickets for 100% uber IS NOT a guaranteed event. Only 11 rolls or 15 rolls can be a guaranteed event.
⚓ What is a guaranteed uber
- A guaranteed uber is the last roll with 11 or 15 rolls in a guaranteed event.
- Even if you rolled an uber as the last roll, if it's not rolled in a guaranteed event, it's not a guaranteed uber.
- An uber from platinum or legend event is not a guaranteed uber.
⚓ Reading the guaranteed tracks
- Ubers listed on the guaranteed column are the guaranteed ubers.
- Guaranteed ubers will only be displayed if we're looking at a guaranteed event.
- Here if you make 11 guaranteed rolls, you'll get 1A ~ 10A and lastly 1A guaranteed uber (1AG), totally 11 cats.

⚓ Switching tracks
-
There are two cases that you will switch between the tracks:
-
Performing guaranteed rolls in a guaranteed event. Note that platinum gacha IS NOT a guaranteed event.
-
Rolling a potentially consecutive duplicated rare cat.
-
Beside that you always stay on the same track, regardless you're seeing it
as track A or B. Tracks are perspective.
- Here's an example switching from B to A.

⚓ Tracks are perspective
- Track A or B is purely perspective. You're always on track A, and the other track is the alternative track.
- To observe the perspective, let's look at this example. Suppose we click on 2B rare cat's cell, highlighting the rolls:

⚓ Consecutive duplicated rare cats
-
The game does not allow you to get two consecutive duplicated rare cats
in a row. Whenever you could be getting a consecutive duplicated rare cat,
instead of giving you that, the game will instead make an additional
half roll, to roll another rare cat for you.
-
As a result, it'll move you to the other track upon
hitting into a consecutive duplicated rare cat, and you'll get a different
rare cat which is different than the previous one you got, based on the
result of this additional half roll.
-
The reason you'll switch to the other track is exactly the same as rolling
a guaranteed uber cat, that it'll make a half roll, and
switching track is the effect of making a half roll.
- Let's look at an example where we have a consecutive duplicated rare cat at 4A, a Tin Cat can turn into a Pogo Cat.
- Assuming you're clicking on the cell for 4A, highlighting the path toward it.
- You'll see that Pogo Cat was highlighted rather than the Tin Cat, and your next position will jump to 5B instead of 5A.

⚓ Bouncing with consecutive duplicated rare cats
-
It is not very common but it's possible that you could immediately get
another duplicated rare cat right after you switched to the other track.
-
When this happens, as you would expect, the same mechanism will kick in
and you would get another re-rolled rare cat and switch the track again.
-
Here's an example showing 3A -> 4AR (4A re-rolled) ->
5BR (5B re-rolled) -> 7A

⚓ Not necessarily a consecutive duplicated rare cat
-
Did you notice that in the above example, while 4B and 5B are different
rare cats, the track still shows a re-rolled cat at 5B? That's used
when you're coming from 4AR, but what if you're coming from 4B?
-
Remember again that the game will only re-roll a rare cat for you
if and only if you could get a consecutive duplicated rare cat.
It is not depending on the tracks themselves. Those are not fixed.
It's fully depending on what exactly was the last cat you got,
even across the events!
-
Here's an example showing you coming from 4B so 5B is not a consecutive
duplicated rare cat, therefore you'll go through it without switching to
the other track.

⚓ Skipping with a platinum or legend ticket
-
Remember again that the game will only re-roll a rare cat for you
if and only if you could get a consecutive duplicated rare cat.
-
What if you get an uber or legend in place of one of the consecutive
duplicated rare cats, at 3A or 4A? You will avoid getting consecutive
duplicated rare cats, therefore you will not switch to the other track.
- Example that we got Nekoluga at 3A with a platinum ticket, replacing the original Tin Cat, and we will not switch:

⚓ Guaranteed uber for the consecutive duplicated rare cats
⚓ Hidden track switches between events
⚓ Marking the last cat to detect consecutive duplicated rare cats between events
⚓ Switching track is the effect of making a half roll
-
For each regular rolls, or a roll of cat, the game will roll the
dice (seed) twice, once for deciding the rarity, and once for
deciding which cat for that rarity.
-
The game will only roll the dice (seed) once when it's rolling a
guaranteed uber, or when it's replacing your duplicated rare cat for
another rare cat.
-
In summary, this means:
- A roll of cat = a roll of rarity + a roll of which cat (2 rolls of the seed)
- A roll of guaranteed = a roll of which cat (1 roll of the seed)
- A roll of replacing a dupe rare cat = a roll of another rare cat (1 roll of the seed)
- With this in mind, we can also say that a guaranteed roll is a half roll (of cat).
-
We switch to the other track when the game makes a half roll
(or an odd number of half rolls when there are
increased rates with repeated cats).
- Let's look at examples for both tracks A and B.
-
For track A, we jump from 1A to 11B (1 + 10.5 = 11.5), and given that track B is 0.5 roll ahead,
11.5A = 11B.
-
Here's an example switching from B to A, and for the same offset that 1B
is actually 1.5A, we jump from 1B to 12A
(1.5 + 10.5 = 12).

⚓ Marking the next position
-
When we want to plan a few sequence of guaranteed rolls, to avoid
confusion, we likely do not want to advance the tracks just yet.
-
Marking the next position can come handy in this case. We can click on
the label of the position, for example 11B, to mark that as the next
position.
-
Highlighting following that, will start from 11B rather than 1A in that
case. This should help us visualize the paths better with multiple
tabs opened for each of the guaranteed rolls.

⚓ Table notes
- Data was pulled from the app and event data.
- Data was completely based on bc-en.yaml.
- Clicking on the cat's name simulates rolling to that cat.
- Clicking on 🐾 leads to the cat data.
- Guaranteed cat will only show if the event has guaranteed cats.
- Track A or B is purely perspective. Rolling a guaranteed cat will swap the track, not jump. You're always on track A, and the other track is the alternative track.
- Step-up counts as 15 rolls by summing 3, 5, and 7.
-
- Server time is UTC. Event time isn't taken into account yet.
